From the World of Motocross to Marker Production

Sport and imagery have always been the two driving forces behind my journey.

I’ve been passionate about motocross since childhood, with a particular fascination for Freestyle Motocross (FMX). Back then, the discipline was still on the fringes: riders were taking motocross bikes beyond their original purpose, inventing tricks, developing their own style, and pushing beyond established conventions.

That mindset immediately resonated with me: doing things differently, stepping outside the box, and creating your own rules.

In the late 1990s, I discovered Edgar Torronteras at the Paris-Bercy Supercross. It was a defining moment. His style, personality, and approach to the sport would go on to inspire me throughout my teenage years (and still do today).

The First Videos

In 2008, I started creating my first videos, working alongside Jordi Tixier, who was still a young motocross rider at the time. That collaboration would play a major role in my journey. As Jordi’s profile grew, my content gained more visibility, gradually helping me make a name for myself within the motocross world.

More importantly, I filmed constantly. And motocross is an incredible training ground: anticipating lines, following extremely fast-moving subjects, reading the environment, finding the right position, and getting the shot without being able to ask the rider to do it ten times over.

At the same time, a new era was beginning. The first major social platforms were emerging, GoPro was changing the way action was captured, and software like Final Cut Pro was making video creation and editing increasingly accessible.

Without really realizing it, I was part of the first generation discovering that we could now create, produce, and distribute our own content directly to an audience.

Clever School, My First Playground

In 2011, I founded Clever School with a group of childhood friends, driven by our shared passion for action sports.

Around the same time, I met a certain Nicolas Jacquemin, and we gradually began working together more and more.

For over ten years, Clever School became a major part of our lives. We produced content that generated millions of views, organized events bringing together thousands of people, developed our own clothing brand, and collaborated with numerous athletes and key players in the action sports scene.

It taught me much of what would later become my profession: developing concepts, building an identity, producing content, managing social media and websites, growing a community, organizing events, managing budgets, developing a brand, and coordinating partnerships and collaborations.

At the same time, I continued developing my career as a director and photographer, working with athletes, brands, and media while maintaining a strong connection to the motorcycle world.

A Turning Point

In 2013, my journey took a new turn when Stéphan Legrand, founder of LeBigUSA, discovered my work and decided to support me on a project. And not just any project.Joining Edgar Torronteras in Las Vegas for the Monster Energy Cup.

A dream come true. The circle had closed, and that trip became a defining moment in my career.

LeBigUSA was already a major reference in the French-speaking motocross community, and that exposure quickly gave my work greater visibility within the industry. Around the same time, my work caught the attention of Marc Blanchard and 100%, who gave me the opportunity to collaborate with the brand. Looking back, I realize just how much this opportunity shaped what came next. Thank you, Stéphan, for believing in my work and giving me that push at exactly the right time.

And I couldn’t tell the story of those years without mentioning Fred Sauvourel, who became part of the journey early on and is still by my side today, particularly on the business and development side.

Expanding My Horizons

For more than a decade, I balanced Clever School with my career as a director.

On one side, Clever kept growing: the content became bigger, and so did the events. On the other, I continued taking on more shoots and projects. Motocross remained a major part of my work, including collaborations with Marvin Musquin and Dylan Ferrandis around the American Supercross and Motocross championships, while I gradually started exploring new industries and creative worlds.

I met countless people, learned constantly, took on increasingly ambitious projects, and saw my responsibilities evolve.

Above all, I kept building experience.

Eventually, everything I had learned and experienced would naturally come together in a new adventure…

And Then Came Marker

All these experiences eventually come together: content creation, photography, directing, sports, brands, events, marketing, and production.

In 2022, I co-founded Marker Production with Nicolas Jacquemin.

Marker is ultimately the natural result of that entire journey.

I bring more than fifteen years of hands-on experience creating, producing, and learning in the field. Since then, our projects have expanded into a wide range of industries, with Marker now creating campaigns across sports, influencer marketing and the creator economy, automotive and motorcycle, luxury, hospitality, events, corporate, and lifestyle.

But deep down, the way I work is still shaped by everything those years taught me: create opportunities rather than wait for them, find solutions, adapt quickly, and never stop learning. And there’s probably still something of my early fascination with freestyle motocross in all of this: never seeing rules as limits.
